Essay on Democracy

Essay on Democracy - 200 Words

Pakistan has a long history of democracy, as the country was founded in 1947. It is considered one of the largest democratic Muslim countries within its sphere and outside it too! Pakistan's democracy, however, often fluctuates due to instability.

Many other nations are democracies, but they all generally follow similar patterns; not so for our Pakistani nation, though- we have something different up our sleeves!

Democracy played an integral role when Pakistan came into being in 1947 because citizens could choose their leader on this basis alone while also having active involvement with decisions that affect them.

The rise and fall or variation of these values should come as no surprise given how unstable Pakistan is from military rule back then until now, where civilian government dominates. In many countries, democracy is making a positive change in the world, but the change is also the result of people who have high levels of literacy and knowledge.

When the government thinks about its people, those who govern it will be respected by their citizens as well. Many believed that Pakistan's future was nowhere to see given the current political condition, not enough democratic rules which would give power back to them.

Essay on Democracy - 500 Words

Democracy is a cornerstone of human development. When people are free to live freely, they will be happier and more fulfilled as citizens in their society.

Furthermore, democratic governments have proven themselves the best models for providing equal rights among all members within that nation's borders- including different ethnicities or religious beliefs. Democracy also provides duties that make its better residents- treating others with respect and making an effort to be civically minded about local issues impacts not only your own life but the lives of those around you too!

Finally, democracy lets everyone share equally in decision-making - even if it means disagreement on some points - because we can't always agree on everything; this ensures true equality (not just having certain privileges) prevails throughout our country/society.

Democracy is the best form of government. Voting gives everyone a fair chance to have their voice heard and work for what they want to see in their country. It also allows people from various backgrounds with different cultures to live peacefully together.

It leads them to be more tolerant and accepting of each other's differences which makes any democracy better off than another system that does not have these features built-in like many others today do.

Additionally, in a democracy, citizens from the government, which means that everyone has the opportunity to work on behalf of their nation because those selected by the society makes the laws; however, the law prevails effectively as rules originate through democratic input, unlike in some countries where leaders make decisions.

Democracy is a concept that requires constant vigilance. Politics in many places are rife with corruption, not just among politicians but also police officers and other government officials who take bribes for their own gain.

This lack of trust has the downside effect of discouraging citizens from participating politically, which leads to higher likelihoods of oppression or even civil war. We must work hard every day to ensure our democracy doesn't fall into ruin like so many others!

There have been innumerable challenges facing democracies over time, some more recent than others, such as those caused by petty bribery (resulting in a loss of faith within both politics as well as society), caste discrimination communities preferring certain political parties due to majority populations; there's no telling what will happen if we don't. The will of the people governs democratic governments, and their voices are heard overall.

It allows citizens to make laws and public policies by picking their leaders. The democratic system can lead to instability as leaders change with the interests of citizens and on the count of votes. The emphasis is on political competition and power, and morality is not permitted.

The first democracy was established in the 6th century BCE, giving people power instead of a king. One basic principle of democracy is that all people are equal regardless if they come from different cultures or have different opinions about politics.
