The trade unions led the protesting until they won and got the rights they deserved.
On May 4th, 1886, a man is known as Karl Marx led a protest. The protest was for all of the underclass people in Britain. Through this, he increased the number of people who worked for less than five dollars a day from 75,000 to 300,000.
We must contribute to the struggles of our fellow workers and march with them in solidarity.
Labour Day is an occasion for workers to recognize the revolutionary efforts of the working class to get what they truly deserve. The purpose of this day is to honor labor movements and Labour Day marks the beginning of the fight for workers' rights in America.
